Our soaps are made using the cold-process soapmaking method. Lye is an essential part of the soapmaking process, where it reacts with oils and fats in a process called saponification.

During the curing process, the lye is fully consumed and transformed into soap. A properly made and fully cured soap bar contains no remaining lye.

Karoya soaps are designed to gently cleanse while helping maintain the skin’s natural moisture balance.

Karoya balms and lotions are formulated as nourishing skincare products for daily cosmetic use.

Wet skin with warm water and work the soap into a creamy lather. Massage gently over face and body, then rinse thoroughly.

Karoya soaps are crafted as everyday cleansing bars suitable for both body and face use. Follow with Karoya Tallow Balm or Lotion for a complete skincare ritual.

For bars containing exfoliating ingredients such as poppy seeds, use gentle pressure and adjust frequency according to your skin preference.
